Flashback to a fight they had earlier. (In chapter 366)
Mouryoumaru is holding a blast of energy that he caught.
“I will absorb every bit of your Youkai powers!” Mouryoumaru declares to Sesshoumaru.
“The power that I have, will overflow in a tiny vessel as pathetic as you!” responds Sesshoumaru as he fires another blast at him.
As he catches that blast Mouryoumaru's arm explodes.
Mouryoumaru is getting ready to attack “This time won't be like the last!”
Sesshoumaru glares at Mouryoumaru “Heh...Let’s find out about that.”
Sesshoumaru swings Toukijin, creating a large blast.
Mouryoumaru puts some tentacles in front of him, and shields himself.
The huge blast strikes just as Inuyasha and the others arrive. “!”
Mouryoumaru is caught in the middle of the blast.
The dust settles and Mouryoumaru is unaffected by the blast from Sesshoumaru.
“Heh-heh-heh... Not even a scratch.” taunts Mouryoumaru.
Inuyasha and the others are watching all of this.
“That looks like Sesshoumaru” shouts Kagome.
Miroku and Shippo are watching Mouryoumaru and Sesshoumaru face each other.
“Sesshoumaru's sword won’t work at all.” notices Shippo.
“It looks like he's completely absorbed the Meioujuu's armored shell.” Miroku adds.
Sango is looking around “Kohaku is...”
She sees Kohaku and Kikyou on the other side of the fight “!”
Sango shouts out “Kohaku!”
Kikyou and Kohaku look over.
Kikyou is surprised “!”
“Ane-ue...” Kohaku whispers to himself.
Kagome and Inuyasha look over when they hear Sango shouting.
“Kikyou...” Kagome notices her standing there.
Inuyasha notices her too “......”
Kikyou looks relieved when she sees Inuyasha “Inuyasha... You’re safe...?”
“Heh-heh-heh... Now it's your turn to get hit.” Mouryoumaru threatens Sesshoumaru.
Diamond spears form on Mouryoumaru's arm “By my new weapon.”
Inuyasha recognizes the spears and yells “Kongousouha!”
Sesshoumaru doesn't look impressed. “Heh... With the spears that were stolen from the likes of Inuyasha...”
Mouryoumaru fires off a huge blast of spears.
Sesshoumaru swings Toukijin almost casually “You think you can defeat this Sesshoumaru, do you!?”
The blast from Sesshoumaru’s sword causes the diamond spears to crack.
Energy crackles as the two blasts converge.
Miroku says “He is crushing the Kongousouha's spears with the sword pressure!” amazed by what he sees.
“They're facing off!” Shippo shouts out.
The diamond spears start to break. “!”
“Look out!” shouts Inuyasha as he grabs Kagome.
Fragments of the diamond shards rain down and Inuyasha jumps out of the way with Kagome.
The fragments are exploding all around them.
Kohaku stands protectively in front of Kikyou. “Stay back, Kikyou-sama!”
Inuyasha, as he is holding Kagome safely next to him, looks over at Kikyou and shouts to her “Kikyou, are you okay!?”
Kikyou stands there, looking unconcerned, fragments raining down around her.
And as fragments explode around Sesshoumaru, he doesn’t look concerned either.
Mouryoumaru notes “So it’s not even worth the effort to dodge the Inuyasha’s spears, huh?”
“Inuyasha!” shouts Kagome as Inuyasha suddenly rushes forward.
Inuyasha draws Tessaiga “gah!”
Inuyasha takes a swing, “Mouryoumaru!” he yells out as he releases Kaze no Kizu.
Mouryoumaru turns and looks at Inuyasha. “Kaze no Kizu, huh...?”
He continues “You think something like that will work now?”
Now Inuyasha is standing between Mouryoumaru and Sesshoumaru.
“You're in the way, Inuyasha.” Sesshoumaru points out “This is none of your business.”
“Ah, shut up!” Inuyasha answers, then turns to Sesshoumaru and shouts “Get your ass outta here yourself, Sesshoumaru! I’m taking over this fight!”
“I don’t give a damn if you won't move.” Sesshoumaru answers back “You’re also asking to be ripped to pieces.”
Sesshoumaru swings Toukijin “Along with Naraku's heart!”
Kagome and Miroku watch, surprised.
“Ah...” Kagome yells.
Inuyasha jumps out of the way “Gah!”
The blast from Sesshoumaru hits Mouryoumaru. “Heh-heh-heh...”
“You two aren’t fighting,” Mouryoumaru comments “So you’ll be sent to the next world getting along as brothers.”
A large group of sharp tentacles flash out towards Sesshoumaru.
Kagome and the others are suprised.
“Wha...” Kagome stutters.
“His arm...” a shocked Miroku starts to say.
Inuyasha is dodging some of the tentacles “Gah... A tentacle of diamond spears!?”
Several of them are closing in on Sesshoumaru!
Sesshoumaru dodges to the side as the group of tentacles close like a hand.
Sesshoumaru is right in front of Mouryoumaru.
“Choose, Sesshoumaru...” offers Mouryoumaru “Would you rather be crushed,
or run through...”
“Heh-heh-heh… Inuyasha...” Mouryoumaru continues, as he looks over at Inuyasha.
“You’re already out of moves. Just wait until I've settled this with your brother.”
“You bastard... messing around with my Kongousouha...” Inuyasha shouts, holding Tessaiga out in front of him “I'll never allow that!”
