Inuyasha and Sesshoumaru are facing Mouryoumaru. Inuyasha has his sword drawn and shouts “Mouryoumaru, you bastard...”
Inuyasha rushes in to attack “I'll slice you apart with my own hands!”
Kagome and the others watch what’s going on.
“Inuyasha!” shouts Kagome.
Inuyasha leaps into the air as he makes his attack on Mouryoumaru.
Although the Tessaiga hits, Mouryoumaru manages to block the attack.
The force of the strike hits Inuyasha instead.
“Gah!” grunts Inuyasha.
Suddenly a blast of energy rushes past Inuyasha from behind “!?”
Sesshoumaru has sent a blast at Mouryoumaru and Inuyasha is in the middle.
“Gyah!!” Inuyasha exclaims as he goes crashing to the ground.
Kagome runs to Inuyasha “Inuyasha!”
Inuyasha gets back up “Gnh...”
Sesshoumaru doesn’t even glance over at them.
Inuyasha shouts angrily “Sesshoumaru, you asshole!”
Sesshoumaru turns his head to look at Inuyasha “You're just an eyesore.” he says coldly “Next time you get in my way, you’re the one who will be sliced apart...”
Sesshoumaru then turns back to Mouryoumaru.
“Heh-heh-heh...” chuckles Mouryoumaru “It seems the older brother is more sensible, isn’t he.”
Then Mouryoumaru fires another blast of diamond spears.
Sesshoumaru cuts them down with a blast from Toukijin.
Sesshoumaru's blast continues on towards Mouryoumaru.
Kagome, Inuyasha, Miroku and Sango observe the battle.
“They're equal.” notes Kagome.
“Yes. But...” Miroku remarks “Sesshoumaru’s sword, Toukijin can't cut through Mouryoumaru's armored shell.”
Sango notices an empty area behind Mouryoumaru “!”
Sango looks concerned “Kohaku and Kikyou...”
“They’re gone...” Sango wonders “Where are they...!?”
Meanwhile, Kagome and Inuyasha discuss strategy.
“At the joint of the armored shell and the Kongousouha arm...” Kagome remarks “A Shikon shard... isn’t it?
Inuyasha looks at her surprised “!”
“You see it, Kagome?” Inuyasha asks.
“......” Kagome responds “Inside of the armor-shell...”
A soft glowing light comes from within the armored shell.
Kagome continues “Somewhere really deep...”
Kagome draws an arrow “But if the arrow can get it or not...”
“Just hit it.” Inuyasha says impatiently.
Kagome pulls back the arrow and fires
It hits Mouryoumaru's armored shell.
“!” Mouryoumaru turns to look at Kagome.
“What a useless thing...” Mouryoumaru comments as he fires a single diamond spear.
“Look out!” shouts Inuyasha as he grabs Kagome and jumps away.
Mouryoumaru’s armored shell has a small plume of smoke coming from it “Heh...”
“It didn’t work,” Kagome says to Inuyasha “my arrow couldn’t get him.”
“If I know where it is, that would be enough.” responds Inuyasha.
Sesshoumaru turns to look at Kagome and Inuyasha and remarks “You pathetic people never learn...”
“Shut up!” Inuyasha starts shouting at Sesshoumaru “You’re recklessly hacking away at him and getting nowhere!”
Miroku and Shippo look over at Inuyasha.
“Before, he was doing that himself, though.” comments Shippo.
“Shh.” advises Miroku.
“Hey, Mouryoumaru!” Inuyasha shouts as he’s getting ready to attack. “I'll tear off that armor of yours, and drag out Naraku's heart that you’ve hidden inside!”
“Heh-heh-heh...” Mouryoumaru looks at Inuyasha “Hidden, huh?”
“I’m hiding nothing.” Mouryoumaru says casually “Though you know it’s inside of me, you won't even be able to touch it.”
Kagome and Inuyasha look a little surprised.
“When that woman realized it,”
Mouryoumaru reveals “I had already been thinking of creating this body of powerful armor.”
Inuyasha seems puzzled “That woman!?”
“For something worthless as her freedom,” Mouryoumaru continues “she betrayed Naraku, betrayed me...”
[Flashback of Kagura.]
Mouryoumaru adds “That woman told you the location of Naraku's heart.”
Kagome, Inuyasha, Miroku and Sango are looking a bit angry.
“He’s talking about Kagura!?” Kagome realizes.
Sesshoumaru listens as well. “......”
“Heh-heh-heh... That woman was truly a fool.” Mouryoumaru goes on “At the least, if she’d brought Kohaku's shikon fragment to me, she could have lived a little bit longer...”
“!” Sango remembers Kagura making Kohaku escape, with Kagura prepared to fight as Kohaku floats away on the feather “Run, Kohaku!” Kagura shouts to him.
“She came to a clear, generous decision, but in the end...” Mouryoumaru tells them “she died a miserable death.”
“And so, this means she has truly died in vain.” Mouryoumaru finishes “Because, not one of you here will be able to fulfill Kagura’s final wish, will you.”
Inuyasha shouts angrily “Shut up!!”
Inuyasha charges towards Mouryoumaru “If you say anything else, you bastard, I won’t forgive you!”
Suddenly a massive blast hits Mouryoumaru from the side, just missing Inuyasha.
Inuyasha didn’t expect that “!”
Mouryoumaru is knocked to the side, and goes sliding along the ground.
Sesshoumaru is standing there, obviously have just delivered that blast, he looks very angry.
Kagome and Inuyasha both look totally shocked “Sesshoumaru...”
“Gah...” says a very surprised Mouryoumaru, half his face in ruins.
Kagome, Miroku and Sango look shocked.
“Oh...” Kagome exclaims.
“The armored shell broke!” Sango remarks.
Sesshoumaru charges Mouryoumaru!
Mouryoumaru fires some diamond spears but Sesshoumaru knocks them away.
Sesshoumaru looks very determined.
He is aiming at a specific spot, the place in the armored shell where the Shikon fragment is.
Kagome looks surprised.
“Even Sesshoumaru...” Kagome thinks to herself “is angry?”
Sesshoumaru strikes Mouryoumaru's armored shell with the end of his sword.
Mouryoumaru, with the sword in his arm, is giving off a lot of energy.
“Heh.” Mouryoumaru chuckles.
“!” Inuyasha realizes something.
“Sesshoumaru,” Inuyasha shouts urgently “pull your sword out!”
